Compress and convert images

Make photos lighter for your website, online shop or email. Reduce file size, set a maximum width or change format, with several images at once.

Your files never leave your browser.

Guide

Why compress your website's images

Images are usually the heaviest part of a page. A phone photo weighs 3–5 MB; for a website, 200 KB is usually enough. Lighter images mean a faster site, and speed affects both Google rankings and sales.

Which format to choose

WEBP is the most efficient format and every current browser supports it. JPG is still the most compatible for photos. PNG only makes sense for graphics with transparency or crisp text.

How it works

  1. Add your images.
  2. Choose format, quality and size.
  3. Download them one by one or all in a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Which format is best for a website?

WEBP is usually the lightest with good quality and all current browsers support it. JPG is the most compatible option.

What quality do you recommend?

Between 70% and 80% the difference is barely noticeable and the file is much smaller.

Why doesn't PNG have a quality control?

PNG is a lossless format. To reduce the size a lot, convert it to WEBP or JPG, or make it smaller.

Do you do this every day?

If you merge documents, prepare invoices or copy data between programs every day, that can be automated, and it's what we do.
